II. RULES & REGULATIONS

The succeeding rules and regulations shall govern the conduct of every student enrolled at the Aklan Polytechnic College.  As such, students must be guided accordingly.  Violation shall be dealt with as provided herein.

    All students are, therefore, urged to read these rules and regulations carefully.  Ignorance of the rules and regulations will not exempt anybody from its sanctions/penalties.

    Students are also advised that the information contained in the HANDBOOK may from time to time be amended or changed in warranted.  They should, consult the appropriate academic or administrative official for current information.  Each academic unit or administrative official may have specific requirements over and above those set forth herein.

RULE I

ADMISSION SCREENING REQUIREMENTS 

    Admission to the COLLEGE is a privilege, not a right.  The COLLEGE reserves the right to enroll only students who meet its admission requirements and agree to comply its scholastic standards and to abide by its rules and regulations.  The COLLEGE can refuse admission to anybody for a good and sufficient reason, such as dismissal for cause from another school.

    New applicant for admission to the College must possess the following qualifications:

1. He / She must be a graduate of a secondary course / senior high / Alternative Learning System (ALS) from a DepEd recognized secondary school.
2. He / She must  submit the required valid documents necessary for admission.
3. Must be of good moral character.
4. Must be certified by the APC physician to be medically, physically and mentally fit based on their laboratory tests results.
5. Must have met the cut of f score in the College Admission Test for BSMT and other degree programs.
6. Must have passed the oral interview.

TRANSFEREE / SHIFTER MUST COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS ABOVE, AND IN ADDITION:
7. Undergo required interview and if qualified for admission in the program, request evaluation and crediting units earned from previous school;
8. He / She must submit a photocopy of his / her Transcript of Records and subjects credited and have this duly signed by the Registrar;
9. Shifters must take the BSMT qualifying examination for admission.

2. Report Card (Form 138-A / Form 137-A for evaluation purposes in case of lost card)
3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
4. Medical Certificate
5. Psychological Test Result
6. Mandatory Random Drug Test Result
7. 4 pcs 2x2” latest D pictures white background
8. 2 pcs long size letter envelope with stamps

RULE II

ADMISSION POLICIES 

    The College adheres to the provisions in the admission of students.

Organizational Structure
