II. RULES & REGULATIONS
RULE XIV

GRADING SYSTEM
The work of students shall be graded at the end of each semester or term in accordance with the following system:

For BS Nursing, a student shall maintain a minimum grade of 81% (2.00) or higher in all subjects offered for the term otherwise he/she may not be allowed to enroll in the succeeding term.
For the College of Maritime Education, students shall maintain a passing grade of 60% (3.00) or higher in all subjects; otherwise he/she will be deloaded on the succeeding semester and shall be advised to re enroll the subject/s where he earned grades lower than 60% (3.00)
Final Grade, once approved and noted by the College Dean and reported to and officially filed at the Registrar’s Office, can not be altered or modified by the faculty member who gives the grade/s without the approval of the College Dean and the School Director of the COLLEGE.
For the purpose of computing grades of students, the following standards shall be observed:

SP1 (Student Performance from Prelim to Midterm Period) 60%
Quizzes/Hands-on 30%
Recitation 20%
Project/Assignment 10%
Periodical Examination 40%
TOTAL 100%

Computations of grades equivalent for quizzes and periodical examination shall adopt the following formula:

C. For the College of Maritime Education, the transmutation of grades shall not be allowed. Hence, computations of grades equivalent for quizzes and periodical examination shall adopt the following formula:
