RULE XXII

IDENTIFICATION CARDS AND UNIFORMS
The identification card is an important document of the student and forms part of student’s complete uniform. It must be worn at all times while inside the school campus. In transacting business with school offices, the I.D. card must be presented.
The identification card is obtained from the Library. The Librarian facilitates the issuance of the identification card. The card bears the name and the logo of the school, the name, course and year, signature and picture of the student and becomes official with the signature and picture of the student and become official with the signature of the Registrar. The card is renewable every school-year. As soon as the student ceases to be part of the Institution, the identification card must be surrendered to the Office of the Registrar.

When the I.D. card is lost, notice must be immediately reported to the Office of the Registrar and recommendation for re-issuance will be given to the student. The recommendation for re-issuance will then be presented to the Librarian for issuance of the new I.D.
LIBARARY BORROWER’S CARD
All bonafide students of API must secure a Library Borrower’s card inorder that they can use the library holdings and facilities. This library borrower’s card is issued to the student upon enrolment after submitting to the library his/her 1” x 1” I.D. picture and paying for the processing of the card.
The library is open from 8:00 A.M to 12 N.N and 1:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. from Monday to Saturday.
THE OFFICIAL SCHOOL UNIFORM
In the College Department there are several sets of uniforms depending on the course a student is enrolled.
BSCA
Both male and female students wear the navy blue pants white polo with black shoulder board and name-plate at the left breast pocket.
Male students sport a tucked-in polo with white belt and brass buckle.
B. BSN
1. FEMALE STUDENTS:
Dress - Prescribed white dress with BSN/APC Logo and horizontal bar (s) indicating year level at the left breast. Length of the dress must be one (1) inch below the knee. Use white half-slip.
Shoes - Closed black shoes with heels, one and a half to two (1 1/2-2) inches, 1 high. Skin tone stocking 9optional).
Jewelry - Only wrist watch with second hand.
Hair - If long, must be tied up at the back by black ribbon only or hair clip.
Bag - Lady bag. No knap sack allowed.
CHIN UNIFORM:
Blouse - Mocha, short sleeve, tuck-out, up to the second hip with nameplate at the left breast.
Pants - Chocolate brown pants (slacks).
Bag - CHN bag that contains complete prescribed paraphernalia’s and B/P Apparatus. Separate bag will be used for other things such as books, etc.
2. MALE STUDENTS:
Polo - Prescribed white polo shirt with BSN/API logo and horizontal bar (s) indicating year level at the left breast. Use white sando.
Pants - Black pants (slacks).
Shoes - Closed black shoe with white socks.. No sneakers or topsider. Use white socks.
Jewelry - Only wrist watch with second hand.
Hair - Crew cut, no bangs, no side beards.
CHN UNIFORM:
Polo - Mocha, short-sleeve, tuck out with white sando (tuck-in) and a nameplate at the left breast.
Pants - Chocolate brown slacks
Bag - Same with female

.C. BSMT - (Marine Transportation)
Marine Transportation students wear 2 types of uniform. Type A is summer white. White pants of Palm Beach Fabric and a short sleeve polo of American oxford/matched up with shoulder board with an anchor as the emblem. This is only worn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
D. BSTM
FEMALE STUDENTS
Dress - Pencil cut, V-neck, dark blue dress with Black gray lining on the sleeve and 2 inches above
the knee Length with dark blue scarf
Blazer - Wrap around Black gray blazer with APC logo on the left side, with 1.5 inches Black
gray fabric belt with dark blue on the edge and hook and eye at the back to lock.
Shoulder Board - Black shoulder board with either embroidered or printed 3 stars and crescent moon
Shoes - Close black shoes with min of 2 inches heels and black stockings
Hair - Hair must be in pony tail or tied up at the back covered with hairnet (No hair strand
Observed at the forehead)
Jewelry - Only flat or pearl earrings are allowed,
Bags - Only shoulder or handy bag is allowed (Back pack is strictly not allowed
MALE STUDENTS
Polo - Dark blue polo with black ray lining on the sleeve
Blazer - U-neck black gray blazer with APC logo at the left side without button at the front only
Zipper to close at the side from bottom to under arm
Neck Tie - Neck tie must be black gray or striped gray and blue
Shoes - Well-polished black shoes with black socks
Shoulder Board - Black shoulder board with either embroidered or printed 3 stars and crescent moon
Hair cut - Hair must be trimmed and the tip is not touching the ears and collar of the polo. Hair
must be properly set and polished with gel
Bag - Only shoulder or handy bag is allowed, back pack is strictly prohibited.
MIDSHIPMAN OFFICER’S UNIFORM (NROTC)
1. Black Liberty
White polo shirt with white under shirt matched with black trouser with red piping at both sides and white belt with solid brass buckle. A black oversea cap with yellow piping is worn. Paraphernalia include shoulder board, nameplate . Black Shoes matched with black socks.
2. Summer White Uniform
Summer white. White polo shirt with complete pharaphernalia, watched with white trousers with yellow piping at both sides. A white belt with solid brass buckle tightens the shirt and A pershing cap with anchor and yellow piping is worn on the head. The black leather shoes are matched with black socks.
Information pertaining to a student of the COLLEGE is not usually released on request unless there is enough proof that the person requesting information is a member of the student’s immediate family.
However, records of students may be made available to persons and agencies outside the COLLEGE only under the following circumstances:
a. Upon a valid subpoena in connection with a judicial, legislative, or administrative proceeding;
b. Upon authorization made in writing by the individual student concerned;

RULE XXIV
STUDENT RECORDS
The transcript of records may, however, be released without such authorization to the parent or legal guardian of an unmarried student under twenty-one (21) years of age.
A documentary stamp, shall be charged for any transcript of records, diploma, or other document of similar nature issued to students.
